I'm a supporter of the concept of you get back what you put in. Learning to Lead is my opportunity to give back a little. I was lucky enough to develop through a business that had grown in size and took people leadership, culture and wellbeing very seriously.

Learning to Lead also gives me the opportunity to do something I enjoy whilst doing some good in the world. I'm passionate about personal growth, workplace culture, wellbeing and creating world-class teams.

When I've worked with upcoming leaders in the past I've supported areas such as,

  • Strategic thinking

  • Creating great culture

  • Critical thinking

  • Managing high performance

  • Time management and prioritisation

  • Storytelling and presenting with confidence

  • Understanding financial performance

  • Managing change

  • Maintaining agility in a growing business

  • Coaching

  • Building trust and embedding psychological safety

The above shows quite simply how much there is to develop as you move into leadership and unfortunately most leaders don't have the luxury of gently getting up to speed. Upcoming leaders often asked or thought they'd be quieter than before without really understanding how busy a people leaders life can be.
